My name is John J. Maioriello. I am an attorney and I have been in the private practice of law for since 1989. I have lived in this area all of my life. I am married and three children, all boys, ages 11, 14, and 16.
Immediately upon graduation from Villanova University, I began my career as an accountant with All Fill Inc. AFI is a company that designs and manufactures package machinery; which are machines that put any type of product into any type of container. The company does business all over the world and their customers include General Foods, Ortho Chemicals, Proctor and Gamble – all major companies that have many different products for sale to the general public. I worked my way up the corporate ladder and was promoted to Controller. Along the way, the company paid the tuition for my post graduate degree. I completed all of the education requirements for a Masters in Business Administration – Finance at Widener University.
I was hired away by the Delaware Valley Financial Group as a financial analyst. This company marketed all lines of insurance, annuities and investment vehicles. The focus was on planning for estate and taxes for individuals. During this time, I realized that I needed to further my education and I went to Delaware Law School. I went to law school at night while I clerked for a law firm during the day. The evening program takes four years to complete and I was able to learn on the job as well as academically in the evening. Upon graduation from law school, I opened a law office concentrating in the areas of Wills, Trusts and Estates. In addition, my work included protecting individual debtors in U.S. Bankruptcy Court.

I am the president of the Home & School Association of my children’s school and a coach for flag football, basketball and soccer.
